Summer fun, part 7

I helped Robin create a superhero logo for himself (mainly for my own purposes, so I could start prepping for his birthday) but he then decided to cut it out and make himself an entire superhero costume.

Dean decided that it would be fun for us to have a campout in the backyard, so one evening we set up the tent.

We got way too late of a start because we weren't sure if it was going to rain or not, so everyone got into bed very late.  The idea had been for the boys to get around their normal amount of sleep, and Dean and I to get extra, but instead the boys didn't get enough and Dean and I got about the amount we normally would want--except that we were sleeping on the hard ground and kept waking up all night long...

At any rate, the boys loved it, and Robin has requested that we do it again.  We'll have to see what kind of weather we get later on this month.

The next morning (rather early.  They didn't actually wake with the sun, but they were up earlier than is normally allowed, and of course they wouldn't go back to sleep.)

The other day, Dean was telling Robin about something he could do with his kids someday, and Dean would be the grandpa.  I told Robin not to wait until he was 40 until he had kids though, otherwise Dada would be 80.  Robin laughed and told me "I know Mama, you don't need to tell me."

I laughed quite a bit.

Then Robin told me that he won't have kids until he grows up and his Mama (his wife, presumably) would get babies in her tummy and then they would come out and that's when he would be a dada.  But he doesn't know when that will happen.  :)
