Liam enjoying his very first donut
Donuts invariably have egg (I've never tried to make my own), so Robin got a different sort of pastry
They rent bicycle surreys at Wash Park, and since the summer season will "officially" be ending at Labor Day, we decided that we'd better rent one or skip it for this year. So we rented one.
Chicks and ducks and geese better scurry

In one hour (just over) we made three loops of the park. Don't know how far that was, but Dean and I were tired after (Robin's legs aren't long enough to let him properly help yet.)
Trying to "steer" (only one steering wheel actually worked, though I'm not sure he figured that out)
Liam having a go at "steering" too
Liam in a tube
Robin climbing a tube slide!
Learning to climb the chain ladders
A trip to the museum with one of Mama's old friends and her kids
Getting a story from Dr. Seuss: There's No Place Like Space
Liam wearing an astronaut pack
Did you know that astronauts wear space suit capris?
Hmm, or maybe the bare legs are because the costumes were all size 18mos or 2T, and these kiddos have outgrown those sizes? All except the littlest, who didn't want his zipped up.
Exploring in the kids' discovery zone
Playing on the rooftop terrace
They had a telescope set up with sun filters on it. On one, you could see a yellow disc with a few black spots that were sunspots, and in the other, you saw a red disc with solar flares coming off the sides! Pretty awesome!
My budding scientist went back probably half-a-dozen times for "another look."
We found this mini park along one of our bike rides in late summer. All it has is this funky slide and a pair of swings.
In order to get up, you have to either climb the slide or climb this funky tree trunk thing.
The boys liked it for its novelty. We took a small break from our bike ride to play around.
