Robin began exploring the wonderful world of "solids" this past weekend.

Okay, can they really be called "solids" when they're mushy and not much thicker than milk?

Rice cereal, yummy! Let the games begin! Tonight we're going to try carrots.

6 months old today!

I really can't believe he's been around for six months. It just doesn't seem possible for that much time to have passed!
It's amazing to me how fast Robin can master certain tasks. It was only a few weeks ago that he started wobbly sitting, and even yesterday he didn't stay up for very long. Yet today he still falls, but he can sit for much longer. He really is incredible.

Easter, Baby's First!

Robin enjoyed his first Easter and got lots of attention from family!
Here he is with all his loot
Here we are all together, dressed up for the holiday.

He got baby food from the Easter Bunny!

We visited the Easter Bunny at the mall a few days before Easter, though it was unintentional (visiting the Bunny, not going to the mall)

Robin with all the Easter eggs we decorated! Robin helped to decorate one of the Easter eggs. He're we're dipping an egg in blue dye (robin's eggs are blue, after all!)

Robin managed to get some blue on the tip of his finger (and it stained!) Thankfully, we were able to prevent him from knocking the entire container over!
Helping Daddy decorate.

He's already trying to eat the eggs!

The eggs had glow-in-the-dark paint, too!

New milestone!

Yesterday evening, Robin reached another milestone. He sat up all by himself! Hooray! It was very wobbly and didn't last long, but up until yesterday he hadn't made it for more than two seconds. We're so very proud of him. He's filling his big shoes nicely!

He has also learned how to find his feet!

Look what we found in the Pampers box! Can we keep him?

Trying out his monkey high chair. This portable one is what we'll take with us to other people's houses and such.

At the end of March, we spend four days with Dean's family up in Estes Park.

It was the first time he'd spent more than one night away from home, and I don't think it went too badly. It definately messed with his schedule, but we hasn't a holy terror (most of the time!)

While we were there, his Grandpa Del discovered that he can stand by himself provided he has a couch to lean back onto!

After we got back from Estes, we had a fairly big snowstorm. It made for great outdoor fun the day after it was over!

Yes, Robin fell asleep in his bumbo chair outside!

We had a friend from the weigh-ins over. This is Robin and Christian holding hands.
