Pajama pirates!
Congratulations to Dan and Theresa, who got engaged on July 4th!!!
(Now get busy and give my boys some cousins! :) jk)
Dean parked his car on the lawn to wash it, hee hee. Robin loved this.
Giving Monkey a piggyback ride
We had leftover chocolate fondue for dessert one night. Rather than put a bib on Liam, I decided just to take his shirt off. After getting his hands quite messy, Liam touched Dean on the arm, getting chocolate on it. Dean told him not to do that, and then put a spot of chocolate on Liam's tummy to be silly. Well, you can guess where that led
I told Dean that this was entirely his fault and made him clean up the mess. Messy!
Hiding, once again, in the alcove at the library
Liam riding the penny horse at the grocery store
Leftover fondue again. This time he looks like a vampire
Grandpa horsie ride!
We took two weeks of swim lessons at the end of July. I love having a digital water-proof camera!
Come IN!!!!!!
Splashing his teacher
Making a "pizza" out of water (in other words, splashing the water in different ways)
Ring around the Rosie
Waiting his turn
I think this is a good pic of me and Liam... but also, I think Liam looks an awful lot like my cousin Allen in this picture--if Allen were a toddler and not a grown, married man. You know, the way Allen used to look when I was a little kid. I guess this means the Golibersuch side shows through
Trying to get Liam comfortable with floating
Toes on the edge...
Now jump!
Monkey walk (creeping along the side)
Dada came along a couple times
Look at all those cuties!
Englewood offers free outdoor concerts in the summer, on Thursdays, and we went to almost all of them this year. With a picnic dinner, it's a fun evening for the family. Someone on the city staff brought hula hoops to nearly every concert this year, and here's Dean trying to hula hoop while holding Liam
Climbing a tree
Robin helped me harvest fresh green beans while still wearing his pajamas
Liam liked eating them fresh out of the garden (he refused to eat them again, raw or cooked, when presented at a meal)
The boys got their first bubble bath after I cut their hair
Like father, like son (If I hadn't been the person to get him a spoonful of soybutter, I would've been tempted to knock the spoon out of Robin's hand for fear that he'd eat peanut butter. It really does look the same, side by side)
Cutie
Robin, trying to spread his mouth out wide enough to eat a line of m&ms in one gulp
