Thanksgiving was fun and fairly low-key for us this year. We went to Dean's parents house for a nice, big midday meal. Midday still works best for us, since we're always planning these events around naptime.
The boys had a bit of time for play when we arrived
When the meal was nearly ready, Dean read part of a book we got from the library called "Thanksgiving Rules." The protagonist of the story, Percy Isaac Gifford (P.I.G.) loves Thanksgiving and lays out the best plan for making the most of the holiday (and the food.)
Looks like a healthy spread to me
Hungry folks enjoying the meal

Dessert!!!!
Mom's cookie turkeys. Too bad she didn't realize that candy corn sometimes has egg in it. Oops. Good thing we were prepared, and it was a minor reaction
It's good to get together and appreciate your family
We had a good day. I hope you did, too.
