And now Liam has figured out how to climb into--and out--of it by himself, too. Liam plays with it a lot now
There was a solar eclipse on May 20th, and my parents were good enough to pick up some eclipse glasses for us.
Yes, we know they look like 3D glasses. They're still cool.
I even managed to get some good photos
Some darn good ones, when you consider that I was just aiming my point-and-shoot camera though the $2 glasses.
We went to a nearby park with a picnic dinner to watch the eclipse, and then played after the sun set
Liam still likes to bounce
Dean's mother just retired from teaching, and Dan thought it would be nice to pick her up on her last day in a limo.
On our way to the school
Surprise!
After picking her up we rode around for the rest of the hour, and then the limo let us off at the Olive Garden for a nice late lunch/early dinner
I think this made her happy
Letting Robin take pictures always turns back some interesting results. And a LOT of throwaways. I'd never let him do this if we were still using film.
We dressed up (as best we could, anyway) for a cowgirl themed birthday party for one of Robin's friends. Liam even sported his cowboy boots (although we couldn't keep them on his feet for more than a minute.)

The Limo ride was a real surprise and treat! Thank you all for coming! Robin's photos remind me of the photo center the art teacher had at my school. Kids were to go around the school and take pictures from alternate viewpoints. I think he's got some real winners there - some definitely worth mounting on construction paper and hanging up.
