Look at Robin on his tummy! He's come a long way from the baby who would start screaming the second I put him down that way. I get two to four minutes of him holding his head up before he gets tired (and starts screaming) now. I've learned stuff too--like to not make him do tummy time until at least an hour after he's eaten.
I was very proud of him earlier today. I put a rattle in his hand and was busying myself with putting his clothes away, and when I looked back at him, he'd managed to transfer the rattle to his other hand! He didn't have as good of a grip on it (just a few fingers) but he still managed the transfer all by himself! It's so much fun to watch him learn and develop!

I can wear him facing outward now, he holds his head up well enough (and long enough) for short walks and chores around the house.

Two weeks ago we went to the 3rd birthday party of the son of a friend of mine. The party was at a gymnasium, so the kids got to run around and play on all the equipment before having pizza and dessert. They had this one trampoline which was only about four feet wide, but was probably fourty feet long! It was quite a bit springier than I expected, too. I didn't want to bounce too high with Robin, but it was fun!

Our little gymnast! We're ready for the olympics!

He can now sit upright if he's supported on two sides. If he's only supported from behind, he'll still fall over.

He can now sit in the baby swing at the park! (He was pretty tired when we took this picture, though)

Instructions not included??? Help!

Two feet long? Almost! On January 18th he measured 23 inches

Put 'em up!

I can't believe how fast Robin is growing and changing! He crawled while practically a newborn, then he tried flying, recently he walked and pushed a noisy push toy and now he can do gymnastics! What will your new toy, I mean son, think of next?
:)
Well gracious. Imagine seeing his progress from across the country...it's a jolt every time, he is growing so fast! Lookin' good, Robin!
Eileen, your hair is so pretty -- but is Robin using it to hoist himself up? It's a rare new mom who keeps long hair. Go for it, hon.
I'm no math whiz but I think your spate of days-versus-years age coincidences are pretty much at an end. I am looking forward to seeing Robin pix on Valentine's Day -- St. Patrick's Day -- Easter... etc.

Looking at Robin pictures at work makes my heart lite and my mouth smile! Unfortunately, the videos are blocked, but I'll look at home. It's amazing what Robin can do now, and that he's over 3 months old. How time (along with Robin) flies!
